Nestled in a rural setting, this accommodation promises a comfortable stay with an array of facilities such as a garden, an indoor pool, and direct access to an outdoor pool. Although the bathroom is spacious, some rooms seem to have unclean shower curtains and a few guests reported no hot water. the hotel's restaurant offers a good breakfast and lunch buffet, with an enticing selection of dishes. In the evenings, live music plays while the bar serves guests with exotic drinks.
The signage is a bit confusing, and the Wi-Fi network seems to have no password, raising concerns about online security.

We had a lovely stay with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had interesting old school decorations and outdoor facilities such as a pool and nice sculptures. The breakfast was enjoyable with a nice view of the surrounding landscape. The location was peaceful and serene, yet easily accessible by public transportation.
Almost perfect.

Good spacy rooms. Good beds. Free parking.
A bit dated interior of room and hotel. Very bad and expensive food in restaurant. Self service buffet was very poor on (hot) main course dishes. Burnt sausages (breakfast food!), slimy meat mash.... Not eaten much of it. Dessert disaster. Like experienced 6 years ago...Norwegians have poorest kitchen of Europe. They have a lot to learn.

The Klaekken Hotel is a large pleasant rambling facility.. Our room was ordinary at best. We could not get any air circulation as the window opened ony slightly. We had hoped for something other than a buffet for dinner but that was the only offering both nights of our stay.

I had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The highlight of my stay was definitely the swimming pool and sauna, which provided the perfect relaxation after a long day of exploring. The hotel's beautiful gardens were a lovely addition, although the windy weather limited my time outside. The location of this place is fantastic, as it is just a short drive away from various attractions such as hiking spots, sightseeing areas, and even a glassworks factory. It truly served as the perfect starting point for my trip to the mountains and fjords. Plus, the easy drive from the nearby airport was a major plus, as it allowed me to escape the typical airport hotel experience and instead enjoy the tranquility and charm of this venue.
I had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to my friends.

The way the nightportier gave message to the kitchen, so I could eat my breakfast before 07.00. exselent!
It was a coating of old soap in the bottom of the tub, so I did not take the bath I had looked forward to.

Celebrated New Year at a hotel nearby the famous Glass Museum. We were impressed with the beautiful view that was visible from the hotel room. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was okay with a wide variety of choices.
Especially the receptionist, he could not be bothered to provide us with restaurant recommendations, and was not helpful in answering questions about the hotel services. The pool was advertised as heated but the water temperature was cold.

Enjoyed my weekend stay at a countryside hotel near the airport and city. the outdoor pool and indoor pool were excellent, a great way to relax and unwind. the rich selection of lunch dishes, desserts were a delight. the hotel's location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions and was easily accessible from the bus stop located just outside the hotel.
The room was on the smaller side and the shower curtain wasn't clean. Replenishing breakfast items was a bit slow if you arrived late.
